Senior IT Auditor (Bilingual Spanish/English)

Primary Purpose:Represent the Audit function as a business partner by providing all of Sempra Energy's Business units with auditing and consulting services. By providing quality service, you to set a tone that encourages management to call upon Audit Services for assistance. In this role you will have the opportunity to:Plan, supervise and conduct concurrent audits of our operations andpractices to ensure:Compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws and regulationsSafeguarding of assetsEconomical and efficient use of resourcesReliability and integrity of operating and financial informationEffectively document the results of the audit ensuring that conclusions, findings and recommendations are properly supported.Assist with risk assessment and provide recommendations to improve operations/ strengthen business controls and negotiate solutions or corrective actions.Assist in staff development.Skills/Knowledge:Demonstrated experience and knowledge of SAP, IT Infrastructure, IT Network and Security, Operating Systems and/or other ERP platformStrong knowledge of financial, operational and management practices and auditing techniques.Strong analytical skills from a business prospective within the financial, operation, technical and other related fields.Excellent ability to develop, execute and report cost effective recommendations to senior management based on a high quality audit program and/or consulting engagement proposal.Strong professional commitment with the ability to work effectively and efficiently on multiple projects within a team structure.Ability to exercise sound audit judgment.Excellent written and oral communication skills required.External Qualifications:Requirements:5+ years of performing computer specific and general control audits of mainframe and distributed server platforms, telecommunications, information security, webservices, ERP, integrated systems and workflows.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field / equivalent experience.Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certificate required.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) accepted.Ability to travel up to 50% mostly within Mexico and South America.Country:United StatesWork Location:101 Ash StCity:San DiegoState / Province:California
