In this position, we invite you to join a fast paced team working side by side with designers, web developers and product marketers to create some of the hottest new features in the social collaboration space. Come help us unlock people s creative potential in the workplace through social media. Responsibilities include:

* Define interaction design principles and language for collaboration, social networking, communication, voice, and video products
* Identify user interface requirements and define design approach
* Create conceptual design and suggest product direction based on field research and product management requirements
* Create guidelines and design language for communications products that express the Cisco brand
* Develop design prototypes ranging from comps to interactive mock-upsDevelop interface specifications
* Work with user researchers to design and observe field/usability studies
* Work with visual designers to integrate visual and interaction design
* Work closely with engineers to deliver the final product
* Facilitate project communication across a multidisciplinary team through all phases of projectsQualifications:
5+ years of experience designing user interfaces for applications
* Bachelors or Master's degree in User Centered Design, Industrial Design, Communication Arts, Human Factors, Fine Art or related field
* Excellent time-management and prioritization skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task across projects
* Self-starter that is able to work both independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems and to convey these designs in the form of comps and design specifications
* Must communicate clearly and effectively
* Command of leading design software applications, e.g., Omnigraffle, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and Flash
* Experience designing collaboration or social networking applications is desirable
