Our Los Angeles studio is a fun, fast-paced, and exciting environment with projects that vary widely in type, scope and complexity. We are looking for a person who wants to apply their passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive work environment. Our studio seeks Senior Designers with approximately 8- 10 years of experience in Corporate and similar Interior Architecture. The ideal applicant is highly creative, and desires to work with a collaborative team dedicated to design excellence. The successful candidate shall have strong interpersonal skills capable of building client relationships and communicating with a small team of junior designers. Primary responsibilities will be the translation of Interior Design direction from Design Directors / Principals into schematic and design development packages, coordination of schedule and budget with Managing Principals, and lead the production of construction documentation primarily on the Revit platform. The applicant shall have the capacity to coordinate with consultants and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives and participate in construction administration. Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree of Interior Design and/or Architecture, or higher, from an accredited design school
- Approximately 8 - 10 years experience, with a emphasis on Corporate /similar Interior projects of 30,000SF or larger
- NCIDQ certification, CCIDC certification and LEED AP preferred
- Experience in programming large clients with groups of varied and competing needs
- Knowledgeable of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials
- Fluidity with three dimensional modeling software - SketchUp required, Rhino highly valued
- Outstanding graphic presentation skills with the Adobe Creative Suite
