Seeking an energetic, motivated, team-oriented person to join our Human Resources team as a Learning and Development Specialist located in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating learning solutions that drive business results. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager and working closely with stakeholders, you will leverage your expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and program management to grow and develop the competencies of employees at multiple levels within the organization.


* End-to-end design, facilitation, coordination, and management of learning programs, including developing strategy for and executing Leadership Development programs and processes
* Facilitate learning solutions in either a physical classroom or virtual setting. Serve as a role model for excellent instructional facilitation and develop those capabilities in others
* Perform needs analyses and consult with senior business leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs and constraints
* Determine metrics and key skill indicators to measure success and sustainability of programs
* Use learning expertise to develop innovative materials and experiences along the 70/20/10 spectrum of continuous learning: on-the-job learning, social learning, and traditional learning
* Provide subject matter expertise in the development of appropriate organizational development strategies and programs
* Travel to manufacturing facilities located in Texas, Arizona, and Ohio as needed
* Perform other related duties as required to ensure Learning and Development goals are met


* BA/BS in Human Resources, Training and Development, Adult Education, Instructional Design or a related field required; MA/MED preferred
* Minimum of 7years of training experiencerequired
* Minimum of 3years developing leadership programs highly preferred


* Applied knowledge of instructional design methodology and adult learning theory
* Expert level of learning facilitation with varying audience levels
* Program evaluation
* Strong interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills
* Experience using 360s, MBTI, DiSC, Insights, or other assessments to develop individuals or teams
* Vendor management
* Program/project management
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive for results
* Ability to lead and manage multiple projects independently and prioritize competing tasks
* Ability to function as a self-motivated team player capable of working with minimal supervision
* Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)


* Experience supporting Manufacturing organizations
* DDI certification
