JOB SUMMARY

This is a twelve-month, non-tenure eligible position defined as 95% teaching and 5% service, with responsibility to teach and advise at the undergraduate level. The position will serve two undergraduate majors: Agricultural Economics (AEC), and Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES). The position will be housed in the Agricultural Economics Department.
Duties consist of teaching three courses per semester of 3-4 credit hours each, coordinating the NRES experiential education requirement, providing academic advising for the AEC and NRES majors, serving on the NRES Steering Committee, and participating in department, college, and university service roles. Performance will be evaluated using peer and student assessments, and will include documentation of pedagogical development and scholarship.

While teaching assignments may change in response to program needs, examples of current teaching needs to be served by this position are introductory environmental and resource economics, environmental law, intermediate microeconomics, natural resource and environmental policy analysis, and the NRES capstone course.
