Sabre is currently recruiting for a Senior Linux Web
Server Administrator to work in Suitland, MD.
Job Description:
Candidate will work in a fast-paced large database
transaction environment. The successful candidate will
be part of an on-site team that provides support to
manage the mission-critical computer systems, web
servers, and networks, which provide the technological
infrastructure support for our Federal client. Candidate
will also participate in building a knowledge base of
emerging technologies in network and systems management.
Other responsibilities include Linux web server
management, commercial applications systems management,
geographic applications support, disaster recovery, and
system and network security.
Location:
Campus building is located in Suitland MD and is minutes
from DC and the Wilson bridge, and is metro accessible.
Candidates who are hired will have access to the brand

Requirements:
Job Requirements:
* Candidate must have a B.S. degree in a computer
science or a related discipline
* 5+ years of direct experience as a System
Administrator with demonstrated expertise in COTS
administration, installation, configuration,
upgrades, migrations and maintenance
* Experience with web server applications and tools
used in the administration and maintenance of
Linux-based systems, particularly Red Hat Linux,
Apache, and Samba.
* Hands on experience in the following
infrastructure/applications: Apache Server, Secure
Socket Layer (SSL) architecture, Samba server,
Apache Tomcat server.
* Experience with the integration of Apache web
servers with LDAP and SSL.
* Experience with the integration of Samba with Active
Directory and SSL.
* Experience administering and development using PHP
BB and Media Wiki.
* Knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, Red Hat Linux 4 and 5,
Samba, PHP BB, Media Wiki, LDAP, and SSL.
Candidate must be able to obtain a Confidential
Clearance and be a US citizen or have an H1B visa and
have lived in the US for at least 2 years.
