Sodexo is seeking a Senior Area General Manager of Food Services for Cleveland Clinic Health System, in Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland Clinic is a world-renowned health care system known for being a leader in research, education and health information. As the senior level leader you will provide strategic direction for a team of General Managers that run the 1000 bed Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Childrens hospital, 5 independent café locations, and various small retail outlets. This candidate will be responsible for $24M in managed volume with $15M in retail revenue, 400 non union Sodexo hourly employees, & 20 Sodexo managers. The best qualified candidate will have demonstrated strategic leadership skills, complex management skills, strong financial acumen, operational skills with 3-4 years of lead food management experience, excellent written and oral communications with a focus on customer service. The ability to lead and develop both hourly and management teams will be the key to your success in this role Experience in systemization, client relations, and operational excellence will be essential in this candidates success. Single point of contact for client liaison to drive and support the expectations of Sodexo Divisions while supporting our mission and values. This position would support system/multi-site business that in total is greater than $10 million in managed volume (mega accounts) with one or more core services, ES, Eng, Food. The position would support the selling strategy of targeting large system sales.
