This Senior Manager, Business Operations & Planning provides leadership and drives innovation and effective management in all areas of corporate and divisional activities, compliance, administration, communication, and governance.
This position will be integral to building an efficient and timeless infrastructure and processes for the Office of the CEO for a multi-billion dollar global software leader. This role will provide strategic and tactical support to the Chief of Staff to carry out and realize the CEO s vision and strategy. She or he will help drive the agenda, coordinate and communicate with the divisional heads, as well as directing, managing and overseeing approvals, policy deployment, change management, organizational effectiveness and metric driven performance management.
To succeed in this role, you need to be a strong team player who can deliver operational improvements, drive key initiatives, and work across global leadership teams. The right candidate will have exceptional project management, analytical, organizational and communication skills. He/she must be able to handle multiple simultaneous project tasks while working to deadlines and interacting effectively across many levels of management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in, and facilitate, high impact business decision-making, challenging and fast paced execution, and help drive strategic issues.
Support the CEO in developing, enhancing and adhering to the ongoing cadence of the organization. Ensure the CEO is prepared for all meetings both internal and external. Facilitate in documenting the actions for all the meetings and manage the follow up
Conduct research and implement special projects initiated by the CEO and senior leadership team.
Monitor the flow of information in/out of the CEO office and ensure the CEO is kept informed of significant matters requiring attention.
Work to produce reports and presentations for the senior executive team that outline findings, explain risk positions and opportunities, and recommend changes.
Support initiatives to strengthen Nuance s competitive advantage by coordinating with the divisional units to drive an unequalled operational focus and performance management. This includes being the focal point for setting the agenda and driving the quarterly business reviews.
Experience & Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required, MBA strongly preferred
Sufficient business experience (5-10 years) of expanding and diverse responsibility; experience at a large consulting firm is preferred.
Demonstrated success in building strong relationships internally and externally
Proven ability to summarize, critically evaluate, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations from unstructured information in an efficient, concise, and logical manner
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation-format communication skills required
Highly motivated, energetic, creative, and hardworking self-starter; results driven with minimal supervision and in an environment of continuous improvement
Strong communicator with high impact and ability to interact with senior executives
Highly analytical and command of corporate finance concepts, accounting and budgeting and forecasting process
Excellent time management and multitasking/prioritization abilities and organizational skills
Employ strict confidentiality in sensitive situations and demonstrate outstanding judgment
