+ Promote an empathetic, inspiring understanding of culture, consumers (including multicultural) and category+ Proactively identify and define opportunities for growth; stand in the future+ Unlock powerful insight that inspires cut-through marketing/innovation ideas+ Blend visceral human insight with business acumen to support decision making+ Deliver informed and inspiring strategic leadership and data/insight-fueled perspective to:
+ Brand purpose (in partnership with global brand team where appropriate)+ Target consumers and define brand universe+ Inform category strategy - i.e., category segmentation, growth plans, target definitions, innovation/renovation strategy+ Annual brand business ('GAME') plans - includes measurement & evaluation, goal-setting and creation of marketing/innovation plans+ Marketing development (comms plans, ATL, digital, PR, in-bar, in-store) and innovation/renovation (concept, product, packaging) from strategy through execution (working with a variety of agencies to deliver best-in-class ideas)+ Measure, evaluate and optimize work against goals and objectives+ Lead and contribute to thinking that advances our understanding of marketing, trends, consumer groups, and behaviors - always in a way that drives to action+ Own all stages of primary and secondary research, from methodology selection, vendor management, maintaining high standards of reporting and ensuring learning is presented in an actionable, inspiring way. Critically, ensure all research is compliant with our responsible research guidelines.+ Be an expert in and champion of the 'Diageo Way of Brand Building' (DWBB) and 'Next Generation Marketing' (NGM)Experience/Skills Required:
