***This position can be located in Dallas, TX or Mclean, VA*** The Senior Manager of Digital Analytics Architecture and Data Strategy will lead a team of Analysts focused on Digital Analytics Architecture and Data Strategy. This leader will play a key role in developing and implementing the data strategy and approach for Digital Analytics. The Senior Manager of Digital Analytics Architecture and Data Strategy will aim to enable the Commercial Services Analytics team to conduct the most robust analysis and reporting possible for data driven decision making within Hilton Worldwide's Digital space. What will I be doing? The Senior Manager of Digital Analytics Architecture and Data Strategy will be responsible for the development, maintenance, governance, and administration of the digital analytics platform. Additional responsibilities include the integration of all primary data sources available, the identification of emerging tools and datasets to maximize analytics capabilities, and the setting and enforcing of standards for data collection and usage, including digital assets and customer data inputs. Other key priorities are listed below: * Lead the design and development of best-in-class Digital Analytics Platform implementation to ensure accurate measurement of traffic, monetization metrics and customer behavior on an ongoing basis * Provide expert knowledge of best practice solution design, and ensure analytics platform architecture is maintained to the highest standard * Establish and ensure compliance with standards, process and procedures * Maintain Adobe Analytics implementation and evolution strategy and governance * Develop and maintain best in class data collection strategies across digital assets and facilitate customer level of details * Identify potential opportunities for new and emerging data and tools to supplement or enhance current datasets and analysis * Collaborate closely with Analysts and learn business nuances, ensuring tracking is focused on the support of business needs * Effectively manage team prioritization and resources, including tactical and strategic work * Spearhead effective tagging management (Adobe DynamicTag Manager) and use of available solutions * Provide recommendations for data integration across platforms to enable BI and analytics * Act as a key point of contact to develop and maintain internal and external working relationships, with a focus on implementing comprehensive digital measurement of all Hilton Worldwide digital assets * Exceptional critical thinking with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems * Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making skills to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and to provide recommendations for optimal solutions * Act as a representative for the Digital and Marketing Analytics team and as a member of Hilton Worldwide Enterprise Project Delivery core team * Act as primary point of contact for digital analytics vendors including managing contract negotiation and renewal process and ensuring contractual obligations are met by vendor * Strong change management expertise; understand and balance the risks and properly communicate implications to stakeholders * Manage consultant resources and vendor relationships including project prioritization and workflow * Train staff in digital analytics platform functionality, best practices, concepts, digital reporting, and platform capability maximization * Act as the subject matter expert and primary support for digital analysts and developers for any technical and implementation-related questions * Excellent written and verbal communication and comprehension skills, including the ability to clearly explain complex analytical topics to a wide audience who may or may not be familiar with analytics or the subject matter * Ability to work with and be understood by both business and technical Team Members * Understand the latest concepts and innovations in digital and marketing analytics and provide guidance in implementing solutions enabling customer centric analytics * Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information * Ability to work well under pressure, to effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands, to adapt to continually-changing priorities, to aggressive schedules and to appropriately prioritize responsibilities * Understand the connection between architecture and reporting, and ensure the business' best interests are always a key consideration * Strong management skillset, being able to effectively manage people, including setting proper expectations with leadership * Value partnership and collaboration, and understand how to build and maintain strong cross functional relationships Hilton World Wide Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
