As our Senior HR Manager, you will lead your team in managing our HR activities, including employee relations, recruitment and retention, benefits, organizational development, and more, across our 27 locations. If you're a self-driven HR star eager to make your mark and help shape our cutting-edge organization, and you enjoy working in a changing, dynamic business environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.To be a good fit for this Senior Manager of Human Resources position you will have:A bachelor's degree in the Behavioral Sciences, Organizational Development, HR Management, Business or a related fieldAt least five years of HR leadership experience, including three years experience in employee relations management, and a strong understanding of all functional HR disciplinesThe ability to interpret data from various sources to make business decisions and recommendationsProven workforce planning and project management experience with the ability to handle aggressive timelines and align groups and individuals in concert with legal requirements and sound employee relationsThe ability to create and adapt HR solutions to meet business needsExperience balancing transactional responsibilities with building relationships with C-level leaders by \\"knowing the business\\" and coaching on local HR and business issuesDemonstrated skill to interface and maintain effective relationships with management and employees at all levels of the organization from part-time employees up to the President of the company, and to influence others effectively to implement strategic HR and business objectives You should also be willing and able to travel to other site locations within Michigan as needed, up to 40% of your time.Advance Central Services Michigan provides key support functions for MLive Media Group, including production, distribution, purchasing, accounting, and human resources.
