Job Description
The Senior Manager, Investor Relations and Public Relations manages all functions within the IR department as well as public and media relations programs in support of the business. This position reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for development and implementation of the Investor Relations strategy and plan as well as supporting the company s public relations activities.
Develop, execute and manage the company's investor relations strategy and program in close coordination with the company s senior management and FP&A team.
Prepare communications of the company s quarterly financial results including the earnings release, conference call script, Q&As and other supporting presentation materials. Prepare other investor materials, including the company s annual report (10K wrap).
Serve as the primary contact for stock analysts and investors. Coordinate responses to investor inquiries in a timely and thorough manner.
Conduct an outreach program including targeting, contacting and establishing constructive long-term relationships with current stockholders and prospective investors in the U.S. and abroad.
Develop and manage the content of the Investor Relations portion of the company website.
Monitor investment research on the company and its industry peers, and communicate competitive intelligence and analysis to senior management
Provide support for all investor/analyst events (includes all logistical aspects of such events, development of an executive shareholder analysis, and the preparation of presentation and briefing materials)
Manage the company s relationship with investor relations vendors, including NASDAQ which will provide exchange listing, shareholder analysis and targeting, surveillance on trading activity, ownership reports, web hosting, market intelligence and other services..
Work closely with legal team on proxy issues, particularly with solicitation during proxy season and oversee the planning of the Annual Stockholder meeting.
Manage the Investor Relations departmental expenses and overall budget
Coordinate closely with the Marketing Communications and Legal departments on relevant public communications. Prepare and distribute the company s press releases as well as serve as the media relations contact.

Job Requirements
Typical Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of finance, marketing or other relevant corporate experience.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources.

High-level understanding of financial statements and valuation models. Possesses excellent verbal, interpersonal communications, and business writing skills.Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. .

Capable of independently writing clear, concise and error-free documents. Develops complex documents such as press releases, external company presentations, annual/quarterly reports and brochures.

Strong attention to detail and ability to be tactical and strategic.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to take initiative and work with a minimum level of direction in a fast paced environment.
Ability to lead projects and work with cross-functional teams.
