This position supports and assists the Medical Staff in measuring and improving the efficiency to medical staff operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conducts planning, benchmarking, measurement, analysis and reporting on efficiency and utilization improvement initiatives and goals. Provides appropriate documentation to effect change as required. Directs and support the daily operational and financial activities of the Medical Staff departments. Works with physician leaders/chairs to create business plans. Oversees physician contracts for Bridgeport Hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Masters degree in a health related field.



EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7 years related experience.



SPECIAL SKILLS: Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and planning . Demonstrated advanced ability and expertise in management information systems including financial and statistical analysis, graphics and presentation software. Ability to transform complex financial, statistical and operational data into an organized coherent presentation. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing departmental business plans. Excellent communications and negotiating skills. Ability to work independently to produce appropriate management reports.
