The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Product Development to...
Execute day to day activities of PD team based on strategies and priorities set by Director of Product Development and drive issue resolution
Manage and facilitate Costing Design Review Meetings
Oversee timely execution of all product decisions (including Sample Request Form comments, costing, reports, etc.)
Support the review of prototypes to meet Product Development Timeline milestones
Partner with Costing team to create options for Design consideration
Oversee reports and manage tracking of sample requests, and approvals: distribute to cross functional partners as communication tool
Coordinate the sending of development packages (including patterns, original reference samples, materials, etc.)
Communicate information as it pertains to cross-category teams (i.e., SLGs, Gifts)
Review protos and prepare SRF comments, including proposed next steps
Prioritize weekly/daily workload for direct reports
Responsible for ensuring continuity of collection details
Potential travel to Asia.
The accomplished individual will possess
Minimum 10 years of experience in product development within the apparel or accessories industry
Strong analytical and decision making skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Experience with PLM/PDM systems
Strong organizational skills
Capable of adjusting priorities on an as needed basis
Strong ownership and follow up skills to drive results
Understanding of customer priorities and relationship building to support process
