JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Description
Manage implementation teams and workgroups to communicate and monitor system requirements and technical issues. Provide technical, financial and business expertise and guidance in the development, modification, and system integration of complex systems and subsystems used for daily production processing, reporting and financial accounting. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving and further leveraging these systems. Identify and navigate potential issues in order to meet deadlines and schedules. Ideal candidate will be engaged for enterprise level special projects including the divestiture of technical infrastructure, ingestion of acquisitions, and decommissioning of legacy infrastructure and applications.
Operate within all phases of the software development life cycle including analysis, design, implementation, functionality, testing, and support.
Significant experience in software integration and/or validation area, including tools and automation development.
Work with design teams and architects to deliver innovative designs for efficient and functional applications to ensure stable, and consistent interface integration
Understand legacy integration systems, including architecture, configuration, current design, and development.
Work with various network protocols and topologies to ensure reliable and efficient data exchange between various distributed systems.
Communicate status on key accomplishments, risks and timing of key processes and projects.
Provide supervision to others through motivation, direction, review and feedback of assigned tasks.
Supervise work through the planning and scheduling of work, and the review and approval of tasks.
Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess needs and system requirements.
Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements
Develop business cases that convey return on investment data for executive decision-making
Build and maintain working relationships with internal corporate contacts, including Enterprise Accounting, P2P, Broadcast ARM, Finance, Technology, Operations, field systems and other external contacts.
7+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. Finance or Accounting)
5+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree.
Excellent project management skills including developing project objectives, work plans, assembling team members with requisite skills and a proven track record for managing to desired outcomes in a timely manner
Experience with implementing business systems, reporting tools and applying technology to solve business problems. (Experience with ERP systems and Traffic Management Systems)
Experience in operational design and change management including implementation of new policies and procedures, operating controls, system enhancements, software selection and implementation, data management and reporting design.
Strong problem solving skills including demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop implement and document processes that improve the accuracy and timing of work products and business activities.
Self-starter with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organization, time management, and oral/written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative team environment while taking ownership of processes and improving them.
Attention to detail and quality in work products and proficient in core Microsoft Windows application software including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project.
Demonstrated ability to attain measurable objectives of cost reduction or efficiency improvements without having direct control over the resources
Ability to take into consideration multiple factors when dealing with situations, challenges and opportunities and understand the importance of enterprise-wide outcomes
Ability to identify results and outcomes aligned with business direction and strategies
BS/BA in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Finance, Accounting, etc.).
Experience media industry desired.
Experience with Wide Orbit, NCS, Oracle Financials desired.
