Senior Microsoft Engineer

The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to projectsinvolving the assessment, design and implementation of Microsoft System Center and Hyper-V solutions. The associated architectures may integrate Microsoft with multiple hypervisors, including: Hyper-V, XenServer, and/or VMware Vsphere. Architectures may also include other products from the Citrix and Microsoft suites, such as Xen Essentials for Hyper-V, Xen Desktop, Windows 7 , App-V or Med-V.

Responsibilities Include:
andbull;Performing on-site assessments and infrastructure analysis


andbull;Creating advanced designs and contributing to project plans


andbull;Implementing solutions - Critical


andbull;Working in conjunction with project managers to ensure a smooth deployment


andbull;Supporting existing and new deployments


andbull;Research, design, deploy, and test System Center Operations Manager.


andbull;Design, implement, and support server virtualization using Hyper-V.Minimum Requirements:
andbull;Expert level knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, SCVMM, SCOM


andbull;5-10+ years of technical design experience with Microsoft Enterprise technologies


andbull;5+ years customer consulting experience


andbull;History of having performed successful System Center implementations


andbull;Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer


andbull;Experience with ancillary technologies i.e. SMS, MOM, etc.


andbull;Experience leading large complex projects


andbull;Experience developing customer relationships and strong rapport


andbull;Excellent customer-facing skills (written and verbal communications) are a must


andbull;Must be a self-starter; take initiative, and be proactive


andbull;Ability to work independently and as part of a larger project team
