Senior Monitoring Specialist
San Francisco, CA
To receive ECG transmissions in the Cardiac outpatient telemetry ServiceCenter, provide technical analysis of the data and generate reports to the physician, communicate as necessary to the patient and physician, and provide general supervision of Monitoring Specialists.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
Focus on quality and efficiency
Interact with clients and patients
Problem solving of client and patient service issues
Educate patients about service and monitor use
Receive and edit patient ECG transmissions
Evaluate ECG for notification criteria
Facilitate activation of EMS, if indicated
Facilitate orders for monitors and supplies
Monitor performance of technical staff
Provide resource for technical staff
Perform review of notification ECG reports
Provide ECG reports to CardioNet clients
Responsible for patient report QA
Assist in the training of new technicians
Assist in the implementation and enforcement of policies, procedures and processes
Provide educational sessions for technical staff, as assigned
Other duties as required
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
Required: CCT or CRAT certification or RN or RCS ((if no certification, then CCT or CRAT Certification must be obtained within six months of hire)
Minimum of one year ECG analysis experience
Minimum one year as Monitoring Specialist
Preferred: Two years experience as RN, LPN, ECG Tech, Paramedic or EMT
Basic knowledge of pacemakers, holters, event, MCOT
Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to function as a member of a team
High stress tolerance
Ability to multitask
Demonstrates a service-focused attitude
Ability to motivate others
Job is mostly sedentary.

CUSTOMER INTERACTION REQUIRED
Daily contact with patients, clients, physicians, employees and internal management team.
