Senior .Net Developer with Silverlight and WCF

Classification: Software Engineer

Compensation: $100,636.99 to $130,000.00 per year

The Senior Application Developer will be primarily responsible for execution, delivery and support of development tasks for developed systems as identified and required. He/she will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers on the team in industry standard best practices for system architecture and development
Maintain and enhance existing applications
Develop new applications and processes to meet the ever changing needs of the business
Assist client services staff during client engagements where and when applicable
Liaise with network administrators, end-user support analysts, and software vendors to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems
Mentor junior developers on the team in industry standard best practices for system architecture and development
Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts
Manage appropriate project work & operational items
Act as internal consultant to business partners to provide necessary solutions and technology services
Ensure change management processes for applications

BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technology
Proven track record of technology development standards & best practices
Knowledge of Property Tax
Experience with Architecture Design Patterns (Technical Patterns: AOP/IOC/Provider and UI Patterns: MVP/MVC/MVVM)
Minimum of 3 years experience with C# - .NET Framework 3.51/4.0, Microsoft Enterprise Library 4.1/5.0, Microsoft Azure, Silverlight 3 or 4, and SQL Server 2005/2008
Familiarity with Expression Blend Development, WCF RIA Services, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation, .NET Entity Framework 4.0, XML/XSLT/XPATH, and VB 6 Knowledge
Understanding of Microsoft Operating Environment (Network, Active Directory)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability in independent functioning
Ability to manage projects
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy rules
