ROLE SUMMARY
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Requires an associates degree or its equivalent and 4-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; reports to the IT PC Support and Network Manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. As a Senior PC Tech they will at times be asked to provide technical leadership in solving complex technical problems and leading projects.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists the Network Manager for coordination and management of network projects.
2. Installs replacement and new workstations to the UMC standard.
3. Troubleshoots and repairs all workstation\printer related issues, including hardware, software and operating system.
4. Responsible for securing UMC workstations and protecting them from internal and external intrusion.
5. Assists with server backup and recovery.
6. Checks call log and meets time standards for repair
7. Ensure communication between IT and its customers is top priority.
