JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY The Sr. Product Manager manages and administers all new generic Rx product launches for commercial retail and institutional products. This position is responsible for development and management of product strategies to maximize revenue growth and ensure launch target goals are achieved including revenue and desired market share. The Sr. Product Manager is responsible to lead and advise the department s employees to successfully process and administer all contracts and bids for commercial product sale specifically to meet the department and company goals.
Key Accountabilities Description
Develops and executes timely comprehensive and well-supported commercial strategies that align to sales goals
Manage product launch activities: forecasting, market share analysis, initial customer order analysis, and distribution of product information to the Sales team.
Manage and administer all new generic Rx product launches for commercial retail and institutional products. Development and management of product strategies to maximize revenue growth and ensure launch target goals are achieved including revenue and desired market share.
Coordinate forecast assumptions / changes with Supply Chain / Operations for post-launch requirements
Establish sales performance and tracking mechanism in support of new product launches
Provide market and customer specific forecasts using various tools such as IMS Health, Gold Standard, Medispan, etc.
Complete ad-hoc analyses and projects per Management s request. Review and address interdepartmental requests for product or customer contract information.
Provides proactive and in-depth financial analysis of product or market-specific business activity.
Analyze historical sales trends, IMS prescription trends, market intelligence, and other pertinent information to formulate and analyze launch strategies
Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant studies
Master degree in Business preferred
8-12 years of experience in Generic Pharmaceutical product management experience is required
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint are required.
Strong project management skills
Internal Compliance Liaison for DSCSA: Interacts with Impax customer service, warehouse operations and customer trading partners to ensure DSCSA compliant fulfillment of customer orders. Monitors end-to-end process to assure successful transmission of required data; resolves any issues. Serves as the lead responsible for written announcements and verbal communications targeted to customers regarding DSCSA. The person in this role is accountable for creating, distributing, archiving and updating all the Authorized Distributor of Record (ADR) documents. Assures that all new products are added to the SaaS system and that the updates are timely, accurate and compliant. Interacts with IT colleagues to support the implementation and management of relevant new systems related to the law.
Training and documentation for DSCSA: Develops training documentation and tools and trains on any new processes or systems required to be used by customer service.
Trading Partners Interaction for DSCSA: Supports the project leader for customer facing requirements, by coordinating with trading partners to develop processes to support DSCSA Transaction Information/History/Statement (TI/TH/TS) communication. Manages and maintains all trading partner licensing requirements and coordinates and executes the fulfillment of related customer requests while providing excellent customer service.
Management of Suspect Product: Develops and manages processes to investigate suspect, illegitimate or recalled product and verify associated transaction records. This may include collaboration with Legal, Security, Quality, and Medical Information as well as timely notification to the appropriate internal departments, governing agencies and business partners.
Returns and Claims: Serves as the primary backup to the Returns Analyst to assure returns and claims are kept up-to-date while personnel in that area are on PTO or volume is such that additional resources are needed to meet customer and company expectations.
Compliance Reports and Audits: Executes control reports and follows through to resolve any issues to assure any relevant Internal Controls are met for price changes, invoicing, customer master and more. Assures that these are executed and any issues are addressed within the proscribed time frame. Runs reports, provides samples of documents requested by Customer Service Leadership or internal and external auditors or both. Provides ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by leadership.
EDI: Works with Information Technology SAP Team, Customer Service Leadership and Sales Leadership to review, evaluate and prioritize new EDI requests. Serves a liaison between the business, the customer and IT when business related questions or opportunities arise. Resolves EDI errors at order and root cause level.
Customer Master Maintenance: Processes additions and changes to the customer master including all elements required to successfully utilize the customer record in a timely and compliant fashion. Monitors customer master for upcoming expiring state license number and assures data is updated.
Performs related duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
