The Product Marketing Manager for WildFire will be a key player in transforming the cybersecurity landscape at Palo Alto Networks. It will be your charter to successfully position and promote our WildFire product for multiple audiences customers, partners, analysts and press. You will spend time engaging with product management, sales, business development and customers to develop a command of our target audience, key pain points they are experiencing, our unique value proposition and the competitive landscape. You will use this knowledge to develop compelling and differentiated messaging, product literature, presentations, and sales training.


*As an innovative company with a history of bringing game-changing technology to market, we regularly launch new products and functionality. Your job is to help customers, press, analysts, and field teams understand the value of WildFire using a variety of communication methods such as:

*Creation and maintenance of datasheets, brochures, whitepapers, case studies, presentations, demos, and website content.

*Presentation of WildFire in formal and informal settings sales calls, industry, partner, and corporate events.

*Training the sales organization and channel partners on capabilities and competitive differentiation.

*Personally involved in webinars, local seminars, and trade shows to help drive business.

*You will support regular analysis on competing products and features, and develop differentiated product positioning,

*You ll work closely with field and channel marketing to develop ongoing awareness and demand creation programs by identifying cross sale and upsell opportunities between WildFire and other products in our next generation security platform as well as with technology partners products.


*5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a field-facing role in information security or network security. Specific experience in sandbox technology, threat analysis and cybersecurity a plus.

*Experience in launching new technology and performing market education a plus

*Deep knowledge of marketing to and effectively reaching the Enterprise and Fortune 2000 audience.

*Ability to translate complex concepts and technologies into business-oriented value propositions.

*Passion for marketing and promoting advanced technology products with a focus on meeting revenue targets.

*Must possess the ability to influence positive thinking and gain acceptance from technical, non-technical and management audiences.

*Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in public speaking..

*Self-starter with the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.

*Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills. No big egos!

*Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time. Visiting customers, prospects, and partners will be an essential part of this role
