Senior Programmer Analyst

The Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for leading the proof of concept,
analysis, testing, and coordination in the development and expansion of
content distribution platform for the organization. As part of the Distribution
and Data Solution Delivery team, you will define and prototype new systems
and manage the feature planning for distribution area developments.Who

focuses more on analysis and design than being a just a developer, has
strong workflow management, integration system knowledge, object-relational
design, strong work ethic, and is interested in learning more about message-based
system, cloud computing, SOA/ESB, managed platform, PaaS, Six-Sigma, etc.
in an innovative environment using advanced technology and best practices.
Responsibilities:-Define and prototype the distribution platform workflow
and process, to continuously optimize and upgrade current feed handlers,
to handle new distribution product capabilities and to analyze and define
future distribution platform requirements-Liaise between business owners
(from both product management organization and operation organization)
and other IT staff to develop and expand the next generation content distribution
platform, and become Scrum Master in Agile projects-Work collaboratively
with developers and product owners to define the development, testing,
and deployment process-Define and manage test methodology and test cases
with

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering-
Minimum 5 years experience in a fast-paced development environment-Solid
experience with middleware and EAI technologies, such as BizTalk, TIBCO,
Mule, JBOSS/ JMS. Web service/API experience in any of the major frameworks-
Hands-on experience with EDI, syndication or other message-based system.
Experience with BPM, orchestration, and hub/spoke system analysis- Development
skills with Agile development process with C++, C#, or Java- Strong verbal
and written communication skillsHighly desirable: - ETL experience.- Experience
with textual analysis, RDF and search.- KPI and reporting experience in
a news/media/content industry setting
