This company aspires to be a leader in IT innovation and provides a culture of entrepreneurialism where team members are encouraged to succeed and make a difference! /P P STRONG Summary BR /STRONG Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create and manage a project plan to fit the stakeholders/sponsor's needs and deliver on desired outcomes. This PM will support a portfolio of projects centered around revenue systems, projects ranging from 50K to 500K. This resource needs to be strong with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, some from enterprise level environments as well. Qualified candidates should have a background in managing applications projects involving Java/Oracle stack. /P P STRONG Requirements BR /STRONG Bachelor degree in an IT-related discipline PMP certification - preferred 8+ years experience managing application development projects (Java/Oracle environments is strongly preferred) Agile and Waterfall methodology experience Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Visio Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and attention to detail Responsibilities BR Develop integrated baseline project plans applying estimating models, identify resources and skills required, document estimating assumptions, refine plans and manage performance against them Tightly manage project budgets/financials Provide task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assist in assessing risk-based provisions Capture and track program metrics and perform analysis Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them Document and archive project activities, deliverables, tools and findings for future projects Manage multiple projects/initiatives and provide weekly status updates to upper management. /P P STRONG Benefits BR /STRONG As an Agile consultant, you'll gain many of the advantages and benefits of being a direct hire, while experiencing the flexibility of consulting.
