JOB DESCRIPTION? Purchasing / supply chain experience (Indirect Procurement Category Experience)
? Direct negotiation experience with suppliers
? Contract drafting experience
? Review agreements, pricing documents
? Assess and make recommendation on vendor contracts/pricing
? Analytical, Self-motivated
? Past experience with IT agreements
? Able to assess spend and purchase history from corporate systems/data bases
- 6 month contract with extension or FTE potential
-CPM or CPIM certification desired but not required
-Will consider candidates that exceed rate if background/experience support
-Will consider candidates outside local area if willing to relocate for project (submitted rates must be all inclusive).
-Interview Process will include phone screen by hiring manager followed by personal interview onsite in Jacksonville with management team.
Responsible for purchasing inventory, materials, office supplies, and capital goods. Ensures material standards are met and non- conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized. Keep records of all acquisitions to ensure purchases remain within budget and on schedule. Reviews quotations, and creates purchase orders for submission to approved vendors.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Develops purchasing programs for the corporation.
? Reviews pricing quotes, processes requisitions and completes purchase orders for clients.
? Resolves outstanding issues, complies with vendor requests and responds to client inquiries.
? Receive requisitions and check each item for quantity, specifications, and delivery requirements.
? Communicates with vendors to resolve purchase order discrepancies.
? Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor?s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
? Knowledge of supply chain or purchasing functions and procedures
? Knowledge of vendor relations
? Basic knowledge of project management methods and techniques
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various s levels in the organization (e.g. executive, management, individual contributors)
? Excellent problem solving, team and time management skills managing multiple deadlines for self and others
? Proficiency in evaluating the performance capabilities of subordinates as well as counsel subordinates in development and/or corrective discipline
? Proficiency in making projections of future expenses based on analysis of cost effectiveness of past expenditures
