Responsibilities:



Deliver global quality programs that focus on achieving or exceeding ULE productivity and quality targets. Develop quality assurance plans in support of the ULE quality initiatives. Document all issues, findings, and corrective/preventive actions, work to resolve them and report progress on resolution to management. Devise improvements to current processes and/or procedures and develop models for possible future configurations (through LEAN, Six Sigma, Shingo, or other tools). Conduct on-site evaluations (audits) of ULE operations annually or as prescribed by quality requirements. Ensure follow-up on corrective actions and reviews systemic evaluations as required for compliance and quality control. Share analysis results, determine process improvement applicability to address issues and recommend improvement initiatives (including leveraging LEAN, Six Sigma, Shingo, other tools). Work with the global team to successfully meet deadlines. Develop metrics to assess acceptability of improvement initiatives and to determine customer satisfaction. 25% domestic and international travel required.



Qualifications:



Master's degree in Industrial Engineering plus two years of industrial process engineering experience (or BS + 4). Must have each of the following: 1) Shingo expertise; 2) LLS Certified Black Belt; 3) Proficient in Minitab for statistical analysis (T-Test, Chi Square and ANOVA analysis) used in process and QA improvement; 4) 2 years of process mapping experience using tools such as Microsoft Visio; 5) 2 years of experience leading quality initiatives including continuous process improvement management and project mentoring; and 6) Willingness to work real time with QA teams in China, India and Italy.
