My client are an exciting vendor in the Data Loss Prevention space and currently seen as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. They have reinvented their solution recently and this is evident in the change in fortune the company has experienced, having doubled in size over the last few years. They have an exceptional client base, and a number of market leading partners. They're now looking to continue this growth by adding the person below to their team.
The Senior Sales Engineer role will see the successful candidate join a growing team on the East Coast. You will be responsible for the pre-sales activities within your territory, up to and including the Proof of Concept stage. You will work closely with the sales individual in the region, assisting them in growing the revenue and reputation of the organisation. You will be focused on the Enterprise market, not the Federal market in the region. This is a fast-paced role, where you'll need to use your own initiative and will sometimes have to present to clients without the sales individual present. You will do this either face to face or through the use of a WebEx. You will work from home, but if you can visit the office when nearby that would be beneficial. You be based in the Virginia, Maryland, or Washington DC area.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding and experience around Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technology. Experience of Endpoint technology will also be required. Experience with Enterprise organisations will be needed, as you will focus on this market and not the Federal Sector. You will have spent at least 5years in a pre-sales role, and be able to operate in both a technical and commercial capacity. The role is more technically focused, so a working understanding of Linux and Mac is also needed. If you have experience in Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) that would be beneficial. Strong presentation skills are expected, as well as the ability to use your own initiative as the company still has a start-up culture. You be based in the Virginia, Maryland, or Washington DC area.
