The Senior Sales Manager K-12 Instructional Solutions position is responsible for driving the growth of the Business Solutions Division K-12 customers for a respective region. The Senior Sales Manager manages high level, dynamic hunters in the Instructional Lead Consultant (ILC) position.
The Senior Sales ManagerK-12 Instructional Solutions will have Western Regional & National responsibility. The Senior Sales Manager K-12 Instructional Solutions will execute sales strategies against corporate goals and objectives, through a holistic, instruction-first, consultative approach. They will lead the business development and sales effort, monitoring results, quantifying successes and shortfalls, and adjusting as needed. They are responsible for the K-12 Instructional sales performance of their respective region. They will coordinate direction by Region with Managing Directors and District Sales Managers, and ensure that the ILC's are reaching their goals and objectives. The Sr. Manager will be responsible for managing the mission, strategically building capacity within the field ranks, and executing on instructional solutions through the ILC's. The position reports to the Director of K-12 Instructional Strategies, and is within the Growth Initiatives Group.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Sales and/or Marketing
- 7 Years experience in Sales Management, K-12 experience required Other Information:Executive level presentation skills require excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong Business acumen, P&L orientation with focus on profitability. Demonstrated ability to influence senior level management, executives, and key clients. Leadership and organizational skills (mentoring, coaching, counseling). Advanced selling and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to initiate and analyze complex or undefined issues to determine proper course of action. Ability to work cross-functionally and execute new solutions effectively. Experience with Salesforce.com and working knowledge of MS Office products, CRM systems a plus. Must have strong drive for achievement and strong concern for quality and sense of urgency while maintaining orientation for customer satisfaction.
