Draper is seeking a highly-skilled Senior Security Research & Development Engineer to support current and future programs in the domain of Cybersecurity. Activities will include: Developing ideas for solutions to cyber security problems faced by our government and industry sponsors. Design implementation and integration of security solutions. Desired Skills and Experience: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related discipline with 6+ years of experience. Knowledge of embedded systems computer science concepts computer security concepts and networking. Strong knowledge of C C++ and x86 and/or ARM assembly. Strong background in vulnerability analysis and exploitation. Development and vulnerability research experience on Windows Linux OSX and embedded systems. Dynamic and static reverse-engineering skills. Experienced with WinDBG GDB or LLDB. IDA experience a plus. Experience in Hypervisor development with a focus on security. Experience with firmware security. Kernel development skills Reverse engineering embedded devices. Applicants must be U.S. citizens willing to pursue a security clearance

Successful candidates will join Draper's Secure & Reliable Software Group whose focus is providing Cybersecurity solutions to embedded systems. Members of this group participate in all aspects of applied security research & development in the embedded domain including vulnerability analysis exploitation development reverse engineering as well as safe and secure system design and development.Members of the Secure & Reliable Software Group are expected to demonstrate significant technical depth creativity and innovation to complete tasks of significant complexity. They will participate in business development and technical collaborations to bring new concepts and solutions to our sponsors.
