span B *w2 only - NO CORP TO CORP /B br B   /B br B LOCAL TO Los Angeles ONLY. /B br B *century city /B br B   /B br B Sr. Programmer Analyst /B br   br We are seeking a Sr. Programmer Analyst to maintain and enhance existing application systems, design and develop new application systems, provide Help Desk support and troubleshooting for specific applications, and maintain documentation for assigned systems. br   br Responsibilities: br   br • Systems maintenance: Maintains existing application systems, including troubleshooting, correction of logic and data, and enhancement of functionality and capabilities. br • Systems analysis and project planning: Consults with clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features and input/output requirements; analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs; analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time and compatibility with hardware and other programs; and develops and maintains project plans for developing programs. br • Programming and design: Designs and codes screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems; converts designs and specifications into code; compiles code into programs and corrects errors; and develops programs in multiple programming languages. br • Testing: Creates and runs test plans; consults with client to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs; and analyzes code to identify and fix errors. br • Implementation: Moves new applications and databases into production environment; analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency; and monitors performance of programs after implementation. May install and test programs at client site. br • Documentation: Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections; and writes or reviews documentation describing installation and operating procedures. br • Training and Support: Trains end users and/or technical support staff, and provides technical assistance to program users. br   br Requirements: br   br • Minimum 5 years development experience using EnterpriseOne tool sets in modules of General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll required. br • Experience with application side of EnterpriseOne in modules such as General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. br • Experience with the Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Inventory EnterpriseOne modules is a plus. br • Experience in SQL required. br • Experience in AS/400 programming and reporting tools such as Insight and BI Publisher is a plus. br • Must have strong interpersonal and excellent oral and written communication skills br • Must be able to work well with users, development staff, and technical staff br • Good mathematical skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. br • Thorough technical knowledge of programming languages, database structures and related technologies required. Excellent analysis and system design, troubleshooting and problem diagnosis capabilities required. br • Must be result-oriented, team-oriented, client/business-oriented and quality-oriented, and have demonstrated ability to handle pressure and achieve success in a demanding environment b
