Senior Software Engineer Position Description CGI Federal is actively seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide support to the newly awarded Defense Media Activity (DMA) contract. This position is an exciting opportunity to support a high impact organization responsible for providing a direct line of communication for news and information to U.S. Forces worldwide. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for working with our customer while they present information across a variety of platforms which include radio, television, print and internet/social media. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 10+ years of C#/.NET and or/JAVA experience Using development tools and standards, performs software development activities supporting PA/VI initiatives, and supports and maintains existing applications Designs, develops, tests and implements software solutions across functional areas in support of project needs Knowledge and experience in secure application development, including integration with DOD Common Access Card and PKI Prepares test plans, deployment plans, systems documentation, and user documentation Follows the application development life cycle utilizing defined development processes and SDLC tools Develops process flows, data models, prototypes, user interface designs, screen layouts and specifications Includes translating user requirements into design specifications and implementation Suggests and implements configuration management tools to keep code integrity and utilize code reuse/reconstitution Additional Requirements: Candidates must have US Citizenship Candidates must have active Secret clearance Candidate must have Sec+CE Certification Your future duties and responsibilities Required qualifications to be successful in this role At CGI, we're a team of builders.
