JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

* Design, Implement and Maintain software to support unicast/multicast routing protocols

* Integrate and port protocol routing stacks to embedded Access OS

* Work on the Management/Provisioning model, protocol interface

* Implement the forwarding plane interface and other infrastructure software modules

* Write detailed Design specs, conduct design reviews, coding, unit-test in Agile development environment

* Work with multi-site Development/Architecture team to implement the above

* Participate in Design reviews, Architecture discussions, Implementation, Unit-testing and Maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:

*

* Must have 6+ years of experience in design and development of IP Routing protocols (IS-IS, OSPF, BGP)

* Hands-on experience in design and development of Routing Infrastructure and Forwarding plane software

* Multicast Protocols (PIM, MLD, IGMP) experience will be a plus

* Implementation experience in TCP/IP stack, ipv4/ipv6 protocols, ARP handling, ACLs, Policies, QoS

* MPLS and related technologies experience will be plus

* Very Strong C coding and Debugging skills

* Development experience in Multi-core/Multi-threaded environment on Linux

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Well conversant with Agile development methodology

* MS/BS in CS/EE or equivalent
