JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the Market Segments engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for the development and demonstration of vision applications using the wide array of Xilinx embedded technologies. This position will require the engineer to utilize state of the art development tools, e.g. SDSoC, to profile C/C software and then map the image signal processing and video analytic functions to HW/SW running on the Zynq and Zynq Ultrascale System on a Chip (SoCs). As part of the day to day job responsibilities the engineer will be responsible for the design, development and evaluation of internally developed and partner IP as well as development kits and reference designs.
Organization:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum BSCE / BSEE / BSCS

* Understanding of image signal processing, optical flow, image/video analytics, and machine learning/xNNs

* 7-10 years of work-related experience designing and developing imaging/video systems:

* Experience with real-time system design with processors, RTOS, HW/SW integration, and test

* ARM, MicroBlaze architecture and other microprocessor family knowledge

* Knowledge of Image Signal Processing and/or Video Analytic Algorithms

* Preferably C/C and experience in RTL/FPGA implementation

* Understanding of deep/convolutional neural networks (DNN/CNN) a plus

* Proficiency in Logic Fundamentals and FPGA design (VHDL/Verilog) preferred

* Experience with debugging techniques

* Familiarity with board bring up and board support packages.

* Familiarity with test equipment such as logic analyzers, O-scopes, and JTAG debuggers.

* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and teamwork skill

* Highly motivated self-starter able to work with minimum supervision

* Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multitasking environment

* Willingness to travel
