At FCBX, the Senior Strategic Planner will inspire by understanding what matters to our consumers. This person will write insight driven briefs, thoughtfully sift through qualitative and quantitative research, and lead poised, persuasive client creative briefings. We want Planners who understand the power of creation, and who constantly find new ways to share artful and inspiring representations of a big idea.


Creates inspiring strategies and is able to pull the strategy through the entire creative process from start to finish

Displays a proven record of innovative ideas, approaches and final work product

Identifies potential hurdles for the business and takes the lead on solving them

Serves as planning lead on multiple agency led initiated projects

Earns the trust and respect of team members conducting briefings on multiple brands with no supervision

Plans and activates marketing programs that remain on-strategy and exceed program objectives

Provides in-depth analysis of results and reports back to client

Keeps the agency, client and team at forefront of Experiential and Sports Marketing trends

Act as liaison between client, social and data analytics teams

Contributes to new business opportunities working across multiple clients, teams and disciplines

Maximizes organic growth opportunities among current client roster

Able to independently craft presentation decks via the lens of storytelling THE PERSONALITY: Has earned a Bachelors Degree
5-7 years of relevant planner experience, experience in sports or event marketing is a big plus
A builder, someone who desires to help lead and craft the journey of growth within a successful agency environment
Possesses strong sports passion and understands the power of professional sports and creating a brand experience
A natural multi-tasker, able to manage through the chaos of a rapid growth environment
Embraces the graythrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, is flexible and able to roll with changing scenarios
Has a wide comfort zone when it comes to leading Quantitative and Qualitative research, and in using results for both insight and creative development
Has a thirst for knowledge and problem solving to uncover unique creative solutions
Thinks in terms of if-then not what if to turn inspiration into action
Easily translates high-level creative thinking into actionable steps
Has lived in a brand activation environment and possesses the planning, logistical and problem solving skills needed to lead discussions
Has a wide array of industry marketing experience, including but not limited to brand advertising and promotional marketing, emphasis on experiential marketing is a plus (i.e. mobile vehicle tours, street teams, grassroots events, buzz marketing, sports marketing, retail events, social, and influencer marketing programs)
Has participated in crafting and presenting RFI/RFPs and has the tenacity required for business development
