The Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner is responsible for the development of SKU-level operational forecasts for a number of products within the Johnson's Baby portfolio via coordination of the pre-tactical and tactical S&OP processes using SAP Demand Planning functionality. The Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner will interact regularly with cross-functional partners including Marketing, Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, CPFR, Finance, & Supply Planning and will utilize historical order and shipment data, current POS trends, trade inventory data, promotional activity information to develop the best possible demand plans for new and existing products. The Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner is responsible for quantifying and communicating forecast gaps. The Senior Supply Chain Demand Planner will lead cross-functional forecast reviews in accordance with the S&OP process standards. This individual will be responsible for MAPE and Forecast Accuracy metrics and to identify areas of improvement.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree is required. An MBA and/or APICS Certification is desirable. A minimum of 3 years experience in the area of supply chain management preferably distribution, order management, procurement, sales and/or planning is required. Working knowledge of SAP is highly desired. Excel experience and skill is required. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma/Process Excellence Tools, Training, and/or Certifications is preferred. This candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills (written and verbal), as well as the ability to manage and successfully meet goals and objectives related to customer service, inventory levels, and supplier performance. This candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives and work independently while demonstrating initiative. The ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist is also required. This candidate may be required to travel up to10% of the time (domestic and international) and the position is based in Skillman, NJ.
