Senior Systems Administrator

Seeking experienced Systems Administrator to work in the College Park, MD area on a 3 - month contract. Great pay!!RESPONSIBILITIES Provides senior level system administration for the University Identity Management systems. This position requires demonstrated knowledge supporting access management and authentication infrastructures with integration to local and external middleware and external 3rd-party resources. Subject matter expert for (SSO) single sign-on provisioning and password management. Actively involved in hardware and software installation requiring senior-level experience with Windows, UNIX, Linux and virtualization technologies, such as VMware. - Advanced System Administration: Design - Provides administration, support and design skills to highly complex technical instructional infrastructures that require an increased level of security focus. These environments require advanced installation and configuration knowledge of various operating systems including UNIX (Solaris), Linux, Window. - Advanced System Administration: Virtualization - advanced exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware or Parallels. Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS HS Diploma required and Bachelor's degree in computer science
or related field strongly preferred with 4 years experience with IDM, LDAP
and Shibboleth systems, 4 years experience as a primary security authentication
analyst, 5 years experience in Unix/Linux administration and 3 year implementing
and supporting virtualization technologies. - Advanced knowledge and experience
with LDAP (OpenLDAP), Active Directory, (CAS) Central Authentication Service,
(SAML) Security Assertion Markup Language SP, Shibboleth, (SSO) single
sign-on provisioning and federation of users of academic and business applications.
- Possesses very good business acumen, and is able to communicate effectively
with internal and external organizational units to gather requirements,
bring those back for analysis and design, and ultimately propose a solution.
