Role Summary
This individual will focus on systems analysis for application development within the Call Application Solution Group.
The Systems Analyst will be expected to analyze, design and prepare application/system specifications for information systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and installing them. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. May work with stakeholders to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes, and in the application design, testing and implementation. Coordinates analysis activities with other IT areas.
Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis. Responsible for quality assurance review. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with an advanced degree preferred and at least five, typically seven years of solid, diverse work experience in IT, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
It is further expected the candidate recommend high quality customer focused IT strategies and solutions by functioning as a business liaison and advocate through the development process. It is critical that the candidate has a proven track record of successfully working with vendors.
Responsibilities
Provide Systems Analysis for projects, applications & solutions supported by the Call Application Solution Group. Directly accountable for effective, quality and timely analysis and artifact completion. Working with vendors and matrix partners, the candidate must analyze project scope requests and define solutions while keeping in mind strategic nature of the platforms supported.
- Analyzes business requirements and defines information systems solutions to address complex business needs.
- Systems Analyst position will define solutions to address project needs and work across multiple application environments.
- Ability to work with all levels of management to support business needs and make recommendations to meet the needs that are cost effective and productive.
- Clearly document and communicate changes to customers and maintain a strong on-going relationship with business partners and systems partners.
- Work closely with business partners and analyze changes to the business process and determine impacts to the call space.
