We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer Orlando, Florida location. We are seeking an experienced Multimedia MadCap Flare Lead Developer who will technically contribute to the Consolidated Product line Management (CPM) contract. You will be a part of the development of next generation military C2 training environments using Modeling and Simulation. In this role as the Experienced Multimedia MadCap Flare and ARAS Enterprise PLM software Lead Developer, you become part of the team that supports the warfighter’s mission and you will:
Lead the implementation of the MadCap Flare initiative for the Orlando operation
Modify, manipulate, and publish engineering documents, training material, and technical publications within the MadCap Flare and MadCap Contributor tools. The material will be developed for an Army program whose focus is maximizing re-use between products and programs
Use ARAS Product Life Cycle management tool to come up with next generation PLM for the entire CPM contract products.
Produce PDF, Word, and HTML material using Flare
Evaluate imported data for conformity to the Flare structure design, established processes and procedures, and established Style Guide, as well as proper handling of invalid inputs
On as needed basis act in a Content Management position
Collaborate with software and other system engineers, technical writers, and training personnel, identifying inconsistencies within content and images and define/enforce process of workflow and document design where appropriate
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
