Job Description
Northern Virginia locations, other than Mclean, will be considered for job location.
BAE Systems in seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and manage a team of recruiting professionals.
* Serves as point of contact for recruiting support for Sector(s) Hiring Managers
* Ascertains business needs; appropriately assigns recruiters to identified needs
* Resolves day-to-day issues in a timely manner
* Builds and maintains positive customer service relationships
* Implements best-in-class, recruiting processes and metrics to reduce both cost and time to hire and increase satisfaction to the business
* Builds best-in-class recruiting team
* Reviews recruiter performance
* Takes action to continuously improving performance
* Rewards and recognizes recruiters for continued process improvement
* Establishes schedules to obtain objectives
* Establishes the necessary controls and monitoring systems to ensure the TA team they are leading is in compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws for all areas of responsibility.
* Creates a positive team environment and effectively collaborates with other members of the TA team including Sector TA managers, Sourcing, TA Director etc
Requirements:
Required Education: BS degree or equivalent Required Experience: 15 years of relevant experience, additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills: * 5 years of proven mentoring/coaching capability to motivate recruiters to pursue the organization's vision and the capacity to see that goals and objectives are met. * Proven track record in building, training, and developing high-performing recruiters that deliver results in a deadline-driven environment. * Proven ability to drive efficiency and cost effectiveness with a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs. * Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build relationships across multiple levels throughout a large organization. Service-focused with a strong work ethic. * Passionate about recruiting and sourcing. * Demonstrates learning orientation through continuous learning activities * Experience in leading a team in a shared services model * Experience with recruiting in the defense/intel and/or manufacturing/engineer industry
Preferred Skills:
* Masters Degree * Demonstrated best-in-class knowledge of recruitment through implementation of best practices in the attraction, assessment, and candidate conversion to new hire processes. * Thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of recruiting in a services business of government contractors. * Experience participating in the implementation and delivery of enterprise-wide talent acquisition initiatives within an organization acting in a management or lead capacity
