JOB DESCRIPTION_VISION:_ INTERNAL PROMOTION has prompted the Tax Director of this global company to add to the domestic tax group. Seeking highly promotable contributors groomed by Fortune 1000 or national/regional CPA firms to play a support role to tax leadership. Director loves to mentor, groom and promote! _OPPORTUNITY_: Be groomed by X-Big 4CPA/MST quality trained leader who seeks a strong right hand contributor. Support domestic compliance needs as you coordinate data requirements for assigned returns and assure timely delivery. Review and validate data with business segments. Assist in the preparation of federal and state consolidated returns. Interface with state compliance team. Prepared federal and state returns for various business segments. Prepare annual accrual to return reconciliation. Assist with federal consolidated return and year-end tax provision. Assist in the compiling of the tax plan and reforecast data by operating segment. Coordinate with operating units on year-end closing. Knowledge of ASC740/FAS 109 will be developed. Support federal and state taxaudits as needed along with various special projects (acquisition integration, spin-offs, JV's, ERP tool upgrades and more).
_REQUIREMENTS_: BSrequired, CPA or MSTax a decided plus. Seeking a curious, eager to learn professional with an undergraduate or advanced degree in accounting or finance area along with 3+ years experience in a large, multi-national, corporate tax, or CPA firm. Working experience with HFM & GL software. Previous tax compliance and/or CorpTax Vertex, FastTax, Excel, Word, CCH Tax Research Network, TaxStream) a plus. Strong basic accounting skills. Understanding of financial accounting and general ledger operations. Quantitative analysis skills.
_REWARD_: $75,000 to $110,000 DOE plus excellent benefits, 401K, tuition assistance and other incentives. 3+ years
