Senior Transaction Manager

Job Description Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day transaction management / strategy development for one or more National and/or Global Corporate Services accounts involving a large client and multiple service delivery.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE



* BA degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred

* 10 years Commercial Real Estate

* Experience (7-10 sufficient with prior financial service firm experience).

* Excellent oral and written communication skills required

* Strong competency in Transaction Management with solid / proven negotiation skills for both acquisitions and dispositions of office space.

* AnOut of the Box Strategic thinker who has a high level of competency in both Strategic planning and Commercial Real Estate Market Analysis.

* Excellent real estate financial analysis skills, familiarity with accounting concepts, and ability to run complex multiple scenario financial analysis

* Highly proficient with MS Office Suite (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) including the ability to perform Internet based research

* Managing multiple priorities/resources

* Strong presentation skills; ability to communicate to Executive Level audience

* Accomplished relationship management and interpersonal skills

* Excellent organizational abilities required

* Experience running meetings in a professional and efficient manner



PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES



* Able to lead all aspects of transaction management and ensure overall service delivery (cradle to grave)

* Assist with portfolio optimization and implementation of work place strategies

* Coordinate service and/or resources delivered to the client and client departmental leads

* Manage the flow of key documentation and client communications

* Responsible for working with clients' operation groups at all levels and identifying real estate needs and introduces appropriate C&W resources

* Responsible for budgeting, revenue and profit tracking of all transactions

* Design reporting products to meet the clients' unique requirements and ensure accuracy

* Lead and/or facilitate client meetings



Process Management:



* Utilize/Provide standardized processes that create maximum efficiencies and value add

* Develop performance measurements for internal benchmarking



Transaction Management:



* Oversight and responsibility for transaction service delivery for client designated portfolio

* Coordinate with project team including client and C&W staff

* Determine clients' needs and communicate project parameters

* Ensure that project parameters are comprehensive and correct

* Coordinate and oversee all lease negotiations and management of transaction, with assistance from the local broker

* Coordinate and participate in legal review of all client leased/owned documents with client legal counsel; includes estoppels and legal notices

* Coordinate and create transaction financial analysis and client approval documents

* Hire and manage brokers assigned to current projects

* Ensure accuracy of financial data for transactions

* Project tracking and reporting including performance measurement and value add



Portfolio Management :



* Recommend and implement process improvements

* Develop strategies for client portfolio

* Coordinate with client lease administration team to ensure accuracy of data in clients' portfolio management system

* Provide written and oral reporting of critical lease action itemsAssist with facility issues within client portfolio;

* coordinate with client project management team

* Cultivate relationships with local brokers and landlords
