Business Environment:Fast paced hardware engineering team responsible for x86 server platform development.Job Description:RandD project managers lead product development by planning, executing and coordinatingintegrated projects. They manage the day to day life cycle of a program ensuring that programobjectives are met such as schedule, features, financials, costs, and risk mitigation. This isaccomplished this by leading internal and external staff as well as cross functional teamsspanning non engineering disciplines required to productize a server.Your challenge will be to reduce broad concepts and/or business strategies into structuredprojects. You'll lead the design and development of new product/process technologyadvancements and act as the key technical decision maker.Responsibilities include: Leads cross functional project teams. Participates in cross functional initiatives. Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practicesto determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Plan all aspects of project development. Execute project plans for product features,project budget, product costs, andschedule. Ensure the smooth day to day running of the project by building strong interpersonalrelationships with external teams. Work closely with other x86 development teams to ensure consistency acrossproduct line. Ensure clear communications within the engineering and other cross functional teamsthroughout the project.
