Service Delivery Engagement Manager

We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Engagement Manager for our IT Consulting Division. This is a direct hire, permanent opportunity offering a competitive compensation package. Candidates can be located anywhere in the US and must be open to travel about 80% of the time.
Linium Engagement Managers are customer-facing resources responsible for (1) ensuring the success of client projects; (2) adding to the Linium methodology and intellectual property; and (3) continuously increasing their knowledge and expertise. The Service Delivery Engagement Manager has the expertise to organize, administer, and manage the day to day delivery of services on a specific customer engagement.
Areas that practice leaders are responsible for include:
Project Management
Oversee multi-phase, multi-dimensional, multi-resource projects from inception to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Supervise project teams on client projects
Develop timeline estimates, resource requirements and detailed project plans
Drive compliance with the Linium Unified Service Delivery methodology and all operational aspects of the consulting practice
o Ensuring delivery of contractual commitments
o Ensure adherence to the Project Management Office (PMO) delivery and risk mitigation standards
Assign and monitor work tasks to project team
Review and approve project team timesheets, expense statements and client deliverables
Manage the financial tracking (Actuals, ETCs, Variance, etc.) of projects
Manage project risks and issues and monitor and adjust estimates to integrate new constraints
Resolve conflict and / or personnel inquiries.
Manage a project plan and any potential scope modifications.
Client Project
Perform the Workshop Facilitator role on customer engagements.
Facilitate internal and external meetings to ensure project objectives are met.
Document process flows, meeting notes, action items and follow-up issues.
Participate in internal Linium and customer meetings, interviews and other activities in support of projects.
Produce high-quality customer deliverables and other documentation.
Write clear and professional documentation consistent with Linium standards.
Communicate in succinct, professional manner.
Originate creative solutions / options for project needs. Prepare complete and creative diagrams for delivery to clients.
Driving excellence in delivery by evolving the processes that are specific to their practice
Requirements
Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
Skilled in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding customer-facing skills.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field or equivalent work experience required.
Masters degree in Computer Science, Business or related field is a plus.
Understanding of technology to a level of proficiency necessary to speak with authority in client interactions.
Desired
Exhibit expertise in multiple areas of the IT Infrastructure Library framework (ITIL)
Exhibit expertise in multiple areas of IT Asset Management/Software Asset Management
Present at industry conferences and local interest groups.
ITIL Expert or Manager certified.
IAITAM Certified
