If so, Modis has opportunities that will allow long term growth potential! Presently, we have several needs for Service Desk / Help Desk contractors for roles 6+ months and longer; some of which have possible options for permanent hire! Here is the background we need… /span br Essential Duties and Responsibilities br   br Oversight of day-to-day support activities maintaining case history for helpdesk incidents.  Follow-up on off-hour calls after hours and on weekends within 60 minutes.  Works in rotation with other team players for off-hours coverage.  Primary resource for Tier-1 response on all corporate desktop applications excluding database and back office servers.  An ability to learn, use, and support an agency wide financial productivity package is a key piece of the support activities on a day-to-day basis. br   br B Qualifications /B br ul
li Expertise in Windows, Microsoft Office, Mac, and general scripting concepts /li li Specific technical skills that may include systems administration, networking, portal technology, and open source software. /li li Must be able to execute multiple projects simultaneously /li li Must be able to work individually as well as collaborative, team player who enjoys working with and as a part of a larger team /li li Will uphold the security policies of the agency and help end users find a productive way to integrate them into their daily work /li li An ability to plan ahead, work within a metricized team, and deliver on time.the 2nd and 3rd Level Analysts informed of work status, problems and potential problems. /li /ul
  br   br All that is needed are excellent Customer Service skills, excellent communication skills, and strong technical product knowledge with Windows OS’s (XP/7), Exchange / Outlook, etc. Candidates with a CompTia A+ Certification or other Help Desk related certifications are highly encouraged to apply. br   br B What’s in it for you: /B br   br ul
