Job Description
The SharePoint Configuration Analyst is responsible for using Microsoft SharePoint and related technologies for solving business problems related to communication and collaboration. He/ She will collaboratively develop graphical elements around brand identity and establish standards for the user experience on the Company's SharePoint sites.
The SharePoint Configuration Analyst will market the value of the available tools, educating colleagues about the potential of the medium. He/ She will work with individuals and project teams to design and implement solutions to business problems.
This position will require a strong background in business analysis, web technologies and Microsoft SharePoint, as well as graphical design and user interfaces.
Responsibilities
Managing IT
-Plan IT Business: Assisting in performing periodic system validation reviews, assisting in assessing products and assisting in project scoping and identifying information sources
-Manage IT Department & Activites: Assisting in managing IT assests
-Manage IT User Relations: Being a champion for the applications
Create Business Value
-Manage the development and deployment of products and services projects: Including IT project management methodology, business case and implementation methodologies, establishing IT support and processes for new application prior to implementation, developing user procedures and training requirements, evaluating system benefits post-implementation and assist in creating a cross-functional deployment team
-Lead the coordination of projects: Managing project risks, performance, quality, budget and resources, ensuring performance and quality, managing project change control and project status, identify and resolve any integration issues between projects, ensuring conformance to IT methods and standards, and assisting in migrating and decommissioning legacy systems
Evolve IT Architecture
-Assist with the development and update of IT policies, procedures and standards
Develop IT Strategy (SharePoint and Collaboration-related)
-Assist in estimating IT project timeline, resources and cost, Assist in considering sourcing strategies and assist in developing and evolving the IT strategy
Plan the annual IT business
-Assist with SharePoint-related budgeting and annual maintenance planning
Manage IT business area
-Assist in managing change
Develop and manage IT vendor relationships
-Assist in assessing vendor capabilities and lead vendors assigned to projects under Analyst's responsibilities
Develop and manage user relationships
-Assist in marketing IT services and assist in establishing metrics and success criteria
Requirements:
-3+ years delivering services on a variety of client platforms within and outside the company
-Microsoft SharePoint certifications
-Experience in new IT products and services
-Experience using the following: CSS, XML, .NET, CAML
-Stong project management skills
-Very strong communication skills - both verbal and written
