JOB DESCRIPTIONShift Electrician
Global VISA and Relocation Specifications: This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role's country only. K-C will not provide relocation support for this role.
Shift Electrician - Req# 752679
The incumbent reports to the Maintenance Manager, but will take much of their work direction from the asset team, their shift lead, reliability team and planner. The incumbent provides maintenance and technical services to continuously improve reliability, enhance capability and ensure safe operation of assets. Key responsibility of this position is equipment reliability and electrical/process troubleshooting. Typical assignments include effective interaction with reliability team, operations core team, engineering and other maintenance team members, work order completion, preventive maintenance development/execution, asset troubleshooting and facility support
The position requires the following key skills: Tenacity, Initiative, Thoroughness, Personal Sensitivity, Flexibility, Creativity and Integrity.
* 4 or more years of industrial Electrical experience or equivalent military training and experience
* Technical skills in the following areas: electrical safety including Lockout/Tagout, industrial
controls, pneumatics & hydraulics, PLC's, programmable drives and troubleshooting.
* Candidate must be able to work 12 hour shifts including nights, holidays, weekends and overtime.
* Typical assignments could include working at heights, in confined spaces and use of respirator equipment.
* Two-year technical degree or apprenticeship in a related field preferred.
* Experience with high speed manufacturing and converting equipment.
* Multicraft experience is preferred.
* Starting pay is $25.38 per hour.
