Job Description

Premier supplier of first operation steel blanks, laser welded blanks, and stampings for the automotive industry, is currently accepting applications for individuals to join our new state of the art steel manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, KY. as a shift supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise production lines.
Ensure organizational goals are being met (OEE, scrap, etc.).
Direct activities of shift personnel.
Operation of metal stamping mechanical power press.
Participate in job changeovers & line cleans.
Complete applicable paperwork and computer entries.
Peform inspections, providing forklift and crane support, etc.
Promote a safety culture.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to demonstrate leadership and process ownership.
Working knowledge of blanking/stamping using mechanical coil fed presses.
Production operations using stamping/progressive dies preferred.
Knowledge of machine control operations.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must have strong troubleshooting skills.
Computer skills required.

REQUIRED: Must be a high school graduate or have earned GED equivalency.
Must be available to work 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
Must be available to work overtime.
Minimum of 5 years direct press operating experience.
Minimum of 5 years supervision experience.
