Position Description

Position: Shipping/Receiving Specialist
Location: West Pittston, PA
Department: S&R
Schedule: M-F 12:30PM-9:00PM

Pay- $9.50/hour

PositionSummary(The broad scope, function and purpose of the work to be performed)

Responsible for performing all warehouse positions, including the use of microfilm equipment and hard copy files for retrieval.

Essential Duties/Functions(Duties and functions which are essential to successful performance in the position)

Ø Unload material from daily vehicles of incoming material and sorting it to the correct building.

Ø Enter stats on inventory specialist forms and all other ISO forms.

Ø Sort outgoing retrievals to the correct vehicle using the daily schedule and arrange the driver’s paperwork nightly.

Ø Timely delivery and pickup of client material in a safe and timely manner between Diversified facilities.

Ø Utilize bar code scanning technology to track inventory

Ø Locate and consolidate empty bays f boxes to make space for new incoming client documents

Ø Using hand held scanners record stats on INV forms

Ø Deliver and pick-up cartons of records from various client locations and tracking of same through paperwork and/or hand held scanner

Ø Perform necessary administrative functions such as; mileage reporting, gas usage, scanning reports and compliance to ISO procedures

Ø Performs all other duties as assigned by management

MinimumQualifications (Minimum qualifications and requirements needed to perform the essential duties/functions)

Ø Prior warehouse experience preferred, 2 years previous courier experience preferred

Ø Ability to use pallet jack, use hand held canners

Ø Ability to pay attention to detail

Ø Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ø Ability to drive automatic and standard transmission truck and van up to 8500 GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight)

Ø Ability to use a computer for processing work and high speed document scanner

Ø Valid driver’s license
