JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Description
We re looking for a dynamic individual as a TEMPORARY Short-Term HR Assistant to assist with administrative duties encompassing new hires, payroll, employee files, and employee relations. The individual we seek is well-organized, flexible, and able to prioritize and multi-task to meet all deadlines in a small time frame.
Support Employment Manager in all HR related tasks and processes.
Enter all new employee information, update and modify information in PeopleSoft and BrassRing as needed.
Complete all data entry according to set guidelines.
Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and filed appropriately. Assist employees with issues as needed.
Review paycards to ensure an accurate employee payroll; train managers/supervisors on paid time off entry and approval processes.
Assist in benefits orientation as needed.
Complete reports as needed. Help with job fairs, HR events and activities.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Experience, Education & Skills
* High school degree or equivalent and college degree in Human Resources or other related field, preferred.
2 - 3 years professional work experience preferably in an HR role.
Must have strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Must have computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Must be available to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
