We are the MEDICAL DEVICE (MMDG) division of Moog, Inc. - a global organization that operates in 23 countries. At MMDG, we design, manufacture, and distribute advanced infusion systems that improve medication safety, optimize application performance and reduce medical expenses. Our infusion and enteral products are used in both hospital, at home, and in alternate care sites. Our electronic ambulatory infusion devices are complemented with advanced clinical software management tools, satisfying both clinical and operational requirements.
The SITE QUALITY ASSURANCE DIRECTOR, BASED IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH will be responsible for the Quality Operations functions as well as the quality system and compliance aspects related to this function. Initiate and/or supports innovative activities associated to product quality, quality system and compliance, establishes priorities and facilitates resource allocation. Will report to the Group Vice President of Quality production Quality Engineering; ensuring process validation and verification compliance; site quality systems and compliance as applicable to supply chain; calibration and preventive maintenance program; quality operations activities at the Salt Lake City facility; escalation and investigation of product quality issues; coordination of data to support site Management Reviews; participate and collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D Engineering, Operations Engineering and Manufacturing leaders to identify potential areas of process variability, address root causes and implement improvement. Coordinate with other Site Quality Assurance Directors at other MMDG manufacturing locations in Europe and Latin America.
WHAT SKILLS AND ABILITIES WILL YOU BRING WITH YOU
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 5+ years managerial experience with demonstrated people development and leadership skills, and 10+ years of experience in medical device conflict resolution skills; organizational management skills business ethics analytical reasoning ability are required.
Computer literacy is required.
Some travel will be required
