ATS has an immediate opening for a Site Safety Coordinator.
This individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining various site safety programs aligned with the overall ATS safety program and the customer's safety program.


Responsibilities will include:
- Implementing, updating, and ensuring adherence to the site safety plan, including all policies and procedures
-Working with the customer safety contact to ensure compliance to their policies and procedures -Providing site-specific training on a regular basis, as required -Performing site safety audits to measure performance -Participating in accident investigations and corrective action activities resulting from employee injury and near hits -Meeting regularly with the site management and corporate safety team to communicate status of programs, new or upcoming regulatory changes, and corporate programs -Monitoring and ensuring adherence to the site safety scorecard -Managing the completion of action items that result from safety audits -Compiling and updating site safety metrics on a monthly basis -Leading the site safety committee -Creating safety communication to be distributed to site employees

Requirements:
Qualifications: - Associate's degree from a technical college or university and 2 - 4 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a Safety-related position and specialized safety certifications, degrees, or seminars preferred
- Ability to work successfully with computers and software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
